TCS CODEVITA FOR 2021 BATCH DETAILS

EXAM ON 8th August 2020 (Saturday) 3 PM to 9th August 2020 (Sunday) 3 PM.

CODEVITA DETAILS AND POINTS TO NOTE:

·  CodeVita is a competitive coding contest where students have to solve coding problems.

·  Students will have 6 hours of time to attempt the problems. They can login any time during the 24 hour window, and once they login their 6 hours time will start. (Hence, students who log in after 9 AM on 9th Aug, will not get the entire 6 hours time.)

·  They can use any of the supported languages (C, C++, C#, Java, Python, Perl, Ruby, PHP) to write their code.  They can make submissions in multiple languages.

·  The relevant participation details will be shared with the students on their registered email ID.

·  We hope students would have got a good idea of the format of the contest and the CodeVita platform through the mock rounds.  We have shared with you all the details of the registered students along with their MockVita participation status.

·  We will be shortly sharing with you the FINAL ELIGIBLE STUDENTS LIST for CodeVita. Please plan accordingly for their participation.

·  Please target maximum participation from all registered students.

·  Focus should be on students from Batch of 2021, where we would expect 100% participation as this is one of the channels for students to get an interview opportunity with TCS.

·  As mentioned previously, contest hiring has more focus this year, and we encourage students to make best use of these opportunities.

·  CodeVita Practice platform has been re enabled, this can be accessed on http://practice.tcscodevita.com.  Also, the TCS CodeVita website http://www.tcscodevita.com will have FAQs and sample questions.

·  Students should use laptop / desktop to attempt the contest.

·  We advise they go through the below mentioned video, which will give them all the necessary details.
