Glad to inform that we are one of the leading Shipping Company having RPS License (Recruitment and Placement Services License) with the license number “MUM 381” as attached which is mandatory for every shipping companies in India for recruiting fresher’s to serve On-Board their managed vessel.

Our Requirements:
·         Total No of Ships Managed By West-Line 84
·         Each Ship At least requires 4 Trainee Seaman “Engineering & Navigation” (As per IMO Regulations)
·         Total Requirement of West-Line per Annum 336 Trainee Seaman “Engineering & Navigation”
We recruit:
·         B.E / B.Tech:- Mechanical / Naval Architecture / Automation to work as Trainee Marine Engineersin Engine Department of our Managed Ships.
·         Diploma / B.E / B.Tech:- Electrical / E.C / I.C / E.E to work as Trainee Electrical Officers in Electrical Department of our Managed Ships.
·         B.E / B.Tech:- C.S / I.T / Civil to work as Trainee Navigating officer in Navigation Department of our Managed ships

Shipping Industry:
            Over 94% of world trade is carried by the global shipping industry. Without shipping the import and export of goods on the scale necessary for the modern world would not be possible.There are around 50,000 merchant ships trading internationally, transporting every kind of cargo. The world fleet is registered in over 150 nations, and manned by over a million seafarers of every nationality.
Maritime Training:
As per the norms of Directorate General of Shipping “Government of India”,a person who wish to make his career in shipping industry on board merchant vessel has to undergo for the mandatory “Pre-Sea training” given/approved by D.G Shipping and On-Board Training in a Merchant ship as a trainee to be a future officer.
 
Wages:
·         During On-Board Ship Apprentice:  Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000 per Month(depending upon the type and the trading area of the ship.) 
·         As an Rank Officer:            Rs. 1,75,000  per month, which can hike up to Rs. 6,00,000 per month(depending upon the seniority level on Board ship)
