Suntek Corp invites 3rd year students for *Hackathon* as part of its
Assessments (Hiring Potential Assessment - HPA) for the academic year
2017-18. The commencement date is Thursday, 30th March 2017. The objective
is to build a talent pool for Companies visiting the Colleges and also for
our Hiring Clients.



Hackathon is a Coding Event in which students work collaboratively as
Project Teams to build applications based upon real time problem statements.



*Hackathon Process*

·         Students will be divided into groups

·         Each group will be given a basic problem statement to analyze and
will be asked to develop an approach/flow design.

·         Next, the requirements will be expanded by the technical experts
and these will have to be incorporated in the coding process.

·         Coding must be done in C language only (CPP, Java or other
technologies are not considered for this event).

·         Each team needs to complete the base version of the requirement
as a mandatory deliverable within the given duration.

·         The groups will be assessed closely and rated on multiple
parameters.

·         The coding event will be followed by Technical and HR interviews.



*Expectations from Hackathon Participants*

·         Good logical & analytical thinking ability.

·         Strong grip on concepts (emphasis on Structures, Pointers and
Data structures).

·         Sound Knowledge in C.

·         Good at writing Algorithms.

·         Familiarity with GCC compiler on Linux/Ubuntu OS.

*Brief Description of Overall Assessment (HPA) Levels*

·         Level 1 is Online Aptitude and Programming MCQs Test - No
Elimination

·         Level 2 is Online Coding Test - No Elimination

·         Level 3 is Hackathon - No Elimination

·         Level 4 is Group Interviews - Elimination Round

·         Level 5 is Face to Face interviews - Elimination Round



*Event Registration Fee*

The Registration Fee for the Hackathon and Overall Assessment (HPA) is
Rs.600.
