We believe our young minds are capable discovering those fantastic robots which stands a solution for endless agricultural challenges.
Robothon's voyage being in 2015 across 6 cities in India and claimed to be largest robotic activityconducted in Asia. The second edition, Robothon'16 has remarked its own history and is now being conducted in 12 cities across India.Robothon is a shout-out for technology celebrationand there-by national celebration but dissolving potential challenges. Robothon encourages all disciplines of engineering sciences to be a part of this massive celebration. Let’s run Robothon!
Why Robothon?
Robothon is a Robo-hackathon where the indigenous minds can come together to hack a solution and offline and online mentored by the top university professors and researchers like Stanford, CMU, Hong Kong, Indonesia. Yet this is not it! Every aspect of Robothon is uniquely designed and handcrafted to create a never like before experience for the participants. We are highly motivated by our participants to be innovative, creative and thought provoking in hosting event. So this year,Robothon goes creatively ecofriendly with ABSOLUTE NO PLASTIC. This is a challenge and we abide by it. We have scheduled entire event to maintain a high vibe throughout. Live music, stand-up comedy, great food, cozy & comfortable seating, feature wall, awareness corner, showcase are few of the event highlights.
Robothon structure:
⦁50 Real-time challenges will be given as problem statement to participating teams.
⦁Participating team needs to choose one problem statement at the time of enrolment.
⦁Team should be ready with the necessary inventory and technology needed for their respective problem statement prior to the event - Robothon.
⦁At Robothon each team will be given 24 hours to develop the prototype.
Robothon Jury:
There is no end to Robothon... its just a beginning, after 24hours of Robothon, 25-30 teams are shortlisted and they will be given some inputs from experts and end users of their products, the teams have to work on them and come back in december for the prelims Jury, 5 teams from each city will be selected and they are called for the Finals in February at Robofest.
On the Finale day the winning team will be declared and awarded a seedfund worth 5 lac rupees.
⦁Also the winning team will be supposed to forge the prototype into industry standard robot.
⦁First and second runner-up teams will be given complete support to forge the prototype into industry standard robot.
⦁Top 30teams across the country gets a chance to be featured with the final developed Robot in the International robotics conference - Robofest
Evaluation criteria:
Prototype will be rated for each of the listed criteria,
I. Design,
ii. Mechanism,
iii. Electronics,
iv. Coding
v. Product feasibility
The cumulative score will be considered declare the winning team.
Robothon Mentoring Program:
⦁Robothon offers world class awareness to participants by its mentorship programs.
⦁An exclusive App is developed called “Robofest”. This app enables all participants to interact, discuss and develop ideas.
⦁Using Robofest App participant can interact with professors and researchers from top universities like Stanford, CMU, Hong Kong, Indonesia besides Indian ingenious professionals.
Guidelines for Participants:
⦁No inventory will be given at the event. Participants are requested to carry required inventory.
⦁Independent participants can join another team or other participants to make a
⦁Registration fees will not be refunded / transferred
⦁Registration fee includes food and entry ticket to International Robotics Festival - Robofest.
Token of appreciation:
⦁Participation certificate will be given to all the participants.
⦁Certificate of Appreciation will be given to the first 3 winning teams.

The Registration fee for Robothon would be INR 820per participant & INR 4100 per Team (Maximum of 5 participants are allowed per team).
