| Role Summary/Purpose: | To help Materials Repair Development team develop repair technologies, by helping out in repair processes and characterization of repaired test coupons and hardware. |
| Essential Responsibilities: | -To help Materials Repair Development team develop repair technologies, by helping out in repair processes and characterization of repaired test coupons and hardware. -To do hands on experimental work entailing metallographic sample preparation, polishing, etching, microscopy (optical and SEM) -To document the work done in the form of excel, power point and word documents |
| Qualifications/Requirements: | -Working towards an engineering degree in materials science or metallurgy -Experience with experimental techniques associated with physical metallurgy and mechanical behavior including metallography, hardness tests and tensile tests |
