Swedish Institute Master’s Scholarships 2016 - Applications open
Awarding Institute / Body: The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Sweden.
Field of Study: All Master’s studies at the Swedish Institute.
Eligibility: All first year applicants applying for master’s studies are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Applicants will be selected on the basis of academic performance and leadership experience. Aspirants must be from one of the countries defined by the Scholarship committee with at least two years of experience in voluntary work, paid/unpaid internship, full time employment etc. Apart from that candidate must be admissible at the institute.

How to Apply: Candidates need to submit a separate application form to apply for Swedish Institute Master’s Scholarships 2016. Application process has two steps. In the beginning aspirants need to submit the online application. Successful candidates will be informed and applicants need to submit a detailed application along with the motivation letter, a europass format CV, a passport copy, and two recommendation letters.

Type of awards: Scholarship
Value of Scholarship: Candidates will be required to pay university admission application fee which is SEK 900. Scholarship will cover up to SEK 9,000 for tuition and living expenses which will be paid directly to the Swedish university/university college by the Swedish Institute. Candidates who are from the DAC list of ODA countries will also get onetime travel grant of SEK 15,000.
