Recruitment for Probationary Officer (PO) is the direct entry to junior management at SBI for dynamic young graduates. This is the starting point for an exciting and a high growth career in banking.
What is the Eligibility Criterion?
Any graduate or final year student of a graduate course recognized by the Central government can apply for the selection process.
What is the Salary offered?
The total compensation per annum would be a minimum of Rs. 7.55 lacs and maximum of Rs. 12.93 lacs depending on the place of posting and other factors.
What is the selection process and what are the important dates?
The application process is already open and will end on May 24.
The selection process has 3 rounds namely
1) Phase I - Preliminary examination
Areas tested - English language, Quantitative aptitude, Reasoning ability
Exam Date: 2, 3, 9 , 10 July
Result Date: 18 July
2) Phase II - Main examination
Areas tested - Reasoning and computer aptitude, Data analysis & Interpretation, General Awareness about Economy and banking, Knowledge of English language
Exam Date: 31 July
Result Date: 16 August
3) Phase III - Main examination
Areas tested -
Interview Date: 1 September
Final Result Date: 30 September
