EXCITE 2016
An initiative by TASK & HYSEA , supported by JNTUH. EXCITE is a one month summer product engineering (startup) workshop for 3rd year engineering students to ideate, learn cutting edge skills and implement product prototypes with the active support from Industry mentors and startups.
College Nomination (To Participate)
- Principal/HOD to fill up below form, nominating the students (3 teams, of 3 students each)
- The workshop is open to 3rd year students, Will be for four weeks during the summer break after 3-2. A maximum of three teams with three members in each team can participate. There will be broadly two tracks IoT and Android. Students from all departments are welcome provided they are interested in these technology tracks.
- The four weeks will be spent on Ideation, technology workshop, design thinking, prototype building , showcasing and validation. Active mentoring and guidance will be provided; even as a lot of emphasis is laid on self-learning and peer learning. The participants will have a chance to meet and learn from a lot of Industry mentors.
- There is **NO** participation fee and participation is based on selection by the screening committee nominated by TASK and HYSEA. (However, the participants will bear their own expenses for travel/accommodation/food during the entire duration). Students are advised to get their laptops.
- Maker Space colleges are advised to send their students with IoT Kits
- Participants who complete their full term as per expectation shall get a certificate. They will also get academic credits for internship. And product built in workshop will qualify as Mini project.
