                      JKC Student Registration during the academic year – 2012 – 13
                                   B.E / B. Tech / MCA / MBA
A.P Society for Knowledge Networks (Govt of AP) is inviting registrations from the student who are pursuing Engineering / MCA / MBA. Who met the following eligibility criteria are eligible to registration.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidate must be a student of the JKC registered institution which is registered / renewed for the academic year 2012 – 13 with JKC
2. Candidates pursuing the following courses are eligible
a. B. Tech – 2nd , 3rd and 4th Years (2013, 2014 and 2015 passing outs)
b. MCA – 2nd and 3rd Years (2013 and 2014 passing outs)
c. MBA – 2nd Years (2013 passing outs)
3. Candidates who are already registered with JKC in the previous academic years need to not register / renew again
4. There is no constraint with respect to the academic aggregates of the candidates to register for JKC, where as the eligibility for the candidate to participate in the recruitment events of various companies is purely based on their respective eligibility criteria
Registration Process
• Candidates are required to fill the given application form (Please note that the registration forms of B. Tech and MCA / MBA are different)
• Candidates are requested to pay attention while filling the details, especially the HTNO, Mail ID, Mobile No and academic marks details
• Filled in registration form is to be attested by college Principal / TPO along with the college seal
• Candidates are supposed to submit their applications to the college TPO / JKC In-charge for the consolidation
• College TPO / JKC In-charge is requested to collect all the application forms and prepare a consolidated sheet with the following fields to send along with the applications
o SNO, HTNO, Name, Branch, Passing out Year, DD Amount, DD Number, DD
date, Bank
All the filled in applications along with the prepared consolidated list of candidates to send A.P. Society for Knowledge Networks, Jawahar Knowledge Centre,Swarnajayanthi Commercial Complex, 8th Floor, C- Block, Ameerpet, SR Nagar (post) Hyderabad. 500 038
• College TPO / JKC In-charge is requested to send the soft copy (Excel format) of the consolidated list of candidates to ieg.jkc@gmail.com
• Upon receiving the applications forms, JKC would issue the User ID and pass words of the registered candidates to their respective TPOs / Principals
• TPOs / JKC in-charges are supposed to give these login details to the respective students and ask them to login into their JKC accounts on JKC portal to complete their registration process
• The registration process gets completed only when the student login into their account on JKC
portal and complete their profile updation
Registration Fee Details
• Rs. 3000/- towards JKC registration

• Each student is supposed to draw an individual DD of Rs. 3000/- in favor of “Institute for Electronic Governance” payable at Hyderabad and attach the same along with the application form

• A nominal registration fee for the SC and ST category students of Rs. 500 one time for the
Engineering and MCA/MBA students
• Last date for the registration of JKC : 30th Jul y, 2012
• Late fee will be imposed if applications are not received by the above date
Benefits for JKC registered student
• Each JKC registered student would get the CDs & Printed material related to Arithmetic, Aptitude, Reasoning, Communication Skills, Soft Skills etc.,
• Each JKC registered student will be given an online account on JKC portal to check their profile, access the online content, to give online assessment tests, get the updates with respect to recruitment events. This is very essential for shot listing candidates for campus placements
• All the JKC registered students can attend for the JKC training sessions at their respective institutions by the APSKN – JKC associates. At least 2 sessions in a week will be accommodated upon request from colleges. These training sessions required minimum 25 students from each college
• JKC would organize the workshops on aptitude and soft skills from time to time at JKC
registered college upon request, for the benefit of JKC registered students
• JKC would conduct the online assessments on aptitude, technical as well as soft skills from time to time which allow the JKC registered student to assess themselves and work on their skill set. Students who are not attempting these assessments may not be preferred for campus recruitment events.
• JKC would organize training workshops for certification programs like Oracle, IBM, Auto CAD provided the respective colleges put a formal request with JKC. For the said workshops, minimum 50 candidates are required
• JKC Registered students are entitled to get discounts or complete waiver while registering for these certifications
• As Govt. of India is creating the skill base, JKC is supporting the initiative by exposing JKC students to testing and subsequent certifications (Offered for free by JKC) by Director General of Employment & Training, Govt. of India
• JKC is negotiating with CISCO, HCL, Autodesk etc., for offering certifications to JKC students
Terms & Conditions
• JKC registered students are supposed to check their profiles on JKC portal regularly and update their personal, contact and academic aggregate details time to time
• The recruitment opportunities would be provided to the JKC registered students depending upon their updated eligibility criteria for the respective company, in JKC portal
• Upon selection to any company (other than BPOs) through JKC the JKC registered students have to pay Rs. 10000/-
• Once a JKC registered student is selected to any company (other than BPOs) he / she is not eligible to participate in further recruitment events of JKC (JKC reserves the rights to give a second chance to the selected candidates based on specific requirement by the recruiters)
• It is mandatory for all the JKC registered students to take the online assessment tests during their last year / semester conducted by JKC, the schedules for assessments would be published in JKC portal
